Lakehead Beer Company is owned and operated by its brewers. We think that’s important because it means that every decision we make puts the quality of our product first.
When it comes to our beer, we brew what we love to drink.
With a focus on quality through process, each release is the culmination of many years of experience, experimentation, collaboration, and hard work. Our beer portfolio is intentionally eclectic, from a collection of lesser produced styles to classic malt-driven lagers. Without shying away from new ideas, we take great pride in honouring time-tested brewing traditions; our approach to brewing is honest and simple - let the best ingredients, methods and knowledge speak for themselves.
We care a lot about making sure that our beer makes its way to your glass in the best condition it possibly could.
For that reason, we serve our beer right from the holding vessels or Brite Beer Tanks (BBTs) where it was carbonated and matured in preparation for packaging. We use these BBTs instead of kegs so that we can maintain the different carbonation levels and temperatures best suited to each style of beer we serve, which also has the added benefit of keeping our beer at its absolute freshest
